Danny R. Tillotson is a freelance writer, retired information technology manager, and former U.S. Marine. Danny holds two U.S. Patents for software systems and was the Central Florida Executive of the Year in 1986. The Governor of Florida appointed Danny to serve as Chairman of the Florida Department of Labor Business Advisory Council in 1985. A former pilot and ’60s rock-n-roll musician, he and his wife of 43 years are retired and live in Auburn, Alabama.
Though most of Tillotson’s fictional adventures have been swirling in his head for more than four decades, watching his daughters and grandchildren grow up has inspired Tillotson to put pen to paper—or finger to keyboard—and capture these stories for generations to enjoy weaving some actual events and family anecdotes into his stories.
Tillotson’s first published work is Carolina Gold, an action-packed account of two teenagers led by a brilliant eleven-year-old who follow a thrilling trail of clues across the country, searching for treasure as they learn about love, family, friendship, and honor. His second book, My Other Dad, is an intriguing thriller asking, “What if your Dad wasn’t exactly the computer salesman you thought he was?” The Sequel to My Other Dad is Bobbie West. Bobbie pursues the men who want to plunder the world’s wealth while controlling life for you and me. Little Wolf, the sequel to Bobbie West, has just hit the online bookshelves. Little Wolf: The search for Katie follows Bobbie and friends as they search for Bobbie’s six-year-old daughter, who was kidnapped by the evil leader of a team of Russians who are in America to destroy this country.
